Live with a cargo bike for a week first
Most people should live with a cargo bike for a week before they spend 40,000 kr on one. Forty minutes on the flat behind the shop tells you how it steers. A week tells you whether it fits in your bike room, up your kerb and into your mornings, and that is the part that decides it.

Two kinds of bike, plain prices
Family hire
A two-wheel box bike with a rain cover and two child belts, set up for the nursery run and the weekly shop. Each one is fitted to you on a short ride before it leaves.

Trade hire
A flat-deck or a three-wheel box, for 80 to 150 kg of tools, stock or deliveries a day. Useful for trying trade work by bike, or for covering a fleet bike that is on the stand.

How a hire runs
From the first note to the deposit back in your hand, it is all done at the counter in Malmö.

02Collect
Collect and ride for 20 minutes
A 20 minute fitting ride round the block, with the saddle and bars set to you before you go.

03Deposit
Pay the 3,000 kr deposit
Refundable in full when the bike comes back.

04Ride
A week of your own mornings
The nursery run, the big shop, a wet morning, the job across town. That is what the week is for.

05Return
Return an hour before closing
On the last day of the hire, before 17:00 Tuesday to Friday or before 14:00 on a Saturday, so there is time to look it over together. A Saturday day hire comes back by 14:00 the same day.

06Refund
Deposit back the same day
The 3,000 kr is returned the day the bike comes back, not days later.
Hire to buy
The week comes off the bike
1,750 kr off
One week's hire is deducted from a new bike bought within 30 days. If the week convinces you, it cost you nothing. If it does not, you found out for 1,750 kr instead of 40,000.
